This Saturday morning, at about 6.10, at least three people lost their lives in a violent traffic accident at kilometer 14 of Route 188, in the town of General Rojo, part of San Nicolás. As a result of the multiple collision, the vehicles involved caught fire and, consequently, a fire crew worked on site.

For reasons that are still being investigated, a Volkswagen truck that transported bottled water in drums and soda bottles in drawers, three cars (a Chevrolet Corsa Wagon, a Ford Fiesta and a Volkswagen Gol) and an ambulance from the town of Conesa strongly collided in the hand with meaning towards Parchment.

According to the newspaper "The Informant" of San Nicolás, the driver of the Volkswagen Gol would have tried to overcome the truck and, on returning to the road, would have collided with the Chevrolet Corsa. After that, the cargo vehicle crashed and the other impacts followed.

Thus the vehicles were left after the strong collision and the subsequent fire (photo: @ Andres33860023).

As a result of the sequence, a man and a woman of 84 and 82 who were traveling in the ambulance died, and the driver of the Gol, a young man of 23, who was trapped in his car.

As a result of the accident, several of the vehicles caught fire on the spot, so a fire brigade had to go to fight the flames.

Ambulances of General Rojo and La Emilia, a town near the place, also approached to transfer the injured (there would be nine) to the General Interzonal Hospital of Agudos San Felipe, in the city of San Nicolás.

For the crash, the traffic cut was total between kilometers 13 and 18 of route 188. The UFI 6 intervenes.
