(ANSA) - TRIESTE, FEBRUARY 29 - The Friuli Venezia Giulia Region informs that, following clinical investigations carried out on a suspected coronavirus case in Gorizia, the person has tested positive for both pharyngeal swabs provided for in the protocol. This is the first case in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
The person is not serious and is in isolation.
The samples - underlines the Fvg Region - were sent to the Istituto Superiore di Sanità for confirmation of the outcome, while the patient was taken in charge by the Regional Health Service and was placed in quarantine. (HANDLE).
