(ANSA) - ROME, FEBRUARY 29 - A decrease in the Italian GDP between -1% and -3% in the first and second quarter of 2020. This is the indication of the effects on the economy of the crown according to the Ref Ricerche which quantifies the loss of GDP between 9 and 27 billion. The estimate considers the direct impact in the Italian regions, with immediate and longer lasting effects, depending on the sector considered. Lombardy and Veneto, the two regions most affected by the phenomenon, explains the Ref, account for 31% of the Italian GDP. Arithmetically, a contraction of 10% of GDP in these two regions is worth a decrease of 3% of that of the whole country.
