Coronavirus: UAE cycling tour, out of 167 tests no other case

The coronavirus alarm still worries the members of the caravan of the second edition of the UAE Cycling Tour, in Abu Dhabi. The Health Department of the capital of the United Arab Emirates, in a statement, announced that "laboratory tests conducted on 167 quarantined people, who are part of the UAE Tour caravan for various reasons, did not find any other positive cases to coronavirus, after those announced on Thursday. " The day before yesterday, in fact, two members of the UAE Emirates team were found to be positive for coronavirus: from that moment on, all the members of the stage race caravan were placed in quarantine waiting to be tested.
The race organizing committee, however, "is still monitoring the conditions of the remaining contact cases, whose lab test results will be available within the next few hours." The cycling race was suspended on Thursday for preventive purposes, after the five-stage dispute, and the victory assigned to the British Adam Yates, who at the time of the stop led the general classification.
