(ANSA) - ISTANBUL, FEB 29 - I asked Putin to "get out of the way" from Idlib, Syria. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this in a speech in Istanbul. "I asked Putin: 'What are your interests there? If you establish a base, do it but get out of the way and leave us face to face with the regime," said Erdogan in Istanbul, recalling his telephone conversation with the Russian president, adding Syrian forces will "pay the price" for their attacks on the Turkish army.
