(ANSA) - FLORENCE, FEBRUARY 29 - There are three new cases of positivity to Coronavirus recorded between yesterday evening and this morning in Tuscany. All are awaiting validation by the Higher Institute of Health, but prevention measures have been taken for them. The Region of Tuscany announced it. Two cases concern people both in house isolation in the province of Massa Carrara and both with ties to Codogno.
The third new case is of a young Florentine who went to Milan four days ago: now she is hospitalized with infectious diseases in Ponte a Niccheri.
In total, with these three new cases, the positives encountered in Tuscany rise to 11: only two validation of the ISS has arrived. For the previous 8 cases, the Region speaks of a "stable situation". In total there are 921 people in home isolation of which 443 are taken in charge through dedicated numbers activated by each Local Health Authority.
