Your Urban Music Awards were created, solely and exclusively, to recognize excellence in the urban genre.
This next March 5, at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in Puerto Rico, the second edition of these awards will take place, and the night could not be expected more, by the artists, but also by the urban-loving public.

In 2019, the confirmed stars were: Daddy Yankee , Ozuna , Wisin & Yandel , Zion & Lennox , Natti Natasha , Farruko and Tito El Bambino .
This first edition was dedicated to " The Boss ", Daddy Yankee, figure that the reggaetonists nowadays hold him in high esteem for being the one who opened a gap, which is now a well defined path.
Ozuna managed to be the winner in the "Artist of the year" category, Natti Natasha took his prea as "Best female foreign artist", Farruko and Pedro Capó won "Best urban pop song" for the remix of "Calma" and Wisin & Yandel They achieved their medal for winning the "Best Duo Song" category.

Many trajectories were applauded like that of Tito El Bambino, who received special recognition as well as the great Ivy Queen .
What abounded on that evening was music, harmony and happiness.
Urban artists were always happy to be recognized for the musical work they performed.

In case you were wondering what Your Urban Music Awards are based to create their categories and nominate celebrities, the answer is simple.
The judges are responsible for analyzing and valuing the work of urban stars. The period evaluated is from February to December 2019.
The public will be in charge, by means of their votes, of giving a present to their idols only in five categories: "Artist of the Year", "Song of the Year", "Video of the Year", "Concert of the Year" and "Tour World".
As we mentioned, last year Daddy Yankee was honored, this year it will be Nicky Jam's turn, the 38-year-old reggaeton will receive a well-deserved tribute for his successful career.
