(ANSA) - BEIRUT, MARCH 4 - One and a half million civilians have been displaced in the last three months in the Idlib region of northwestern Syria, the scene of the Russian and government offensive against local pro-Turkish foreign fighters since early December. 60% of the IDPs are children and 20% are women.
This was reported by the National Observatory for Human Rights in Syria, according to which the figure is higher than that reported in recent days by the UN and which is close to one million displaced people (950 thousand people).
