A 39-year-old woman who had been missing since last Friday was found Tuesday buried at the bottom of a house in the Buenos Aires town of Las Toninas and for femicide arrested her former partner, 45, police sources reported.
The fact was discovered this afternoon in a house located on 13th and 1200th Street of the mentioned district located in the La Costa Party.
Police sources informed the Télam news agency that the investigation began when a woman reported that her sister, identified as Octavia Colque , a Bolivian national, had been last seen on Friday around 17.
In that context, the police met with the victim's ex-partner, a bricklayer named Balvino López , a native of the same country, who had said he saw her go from home to the bar where she worked and knew no more about her.
According to sources, the Court of Guarantees 4 of La Costa ordered a raid on the house in which Colque lived and the troops observed that in a backyard there was sand removed.
Volunteer firefighters from the area were summoned to the house and made excavations of about 50 centimeters deep, after which they saw an arm protruding.
Given this situation, the prosecutor of the case, Gustavo Mascioli, arranged to preserve the place and summoned the Scientific Police. In addition, Lopez was immediately apprehended and will be investigated on Wednesday for the crime of "homicide."
The prosecutor also ordered the corresponding autopsy to determine the causes of death.
