Nine people with Covid-19 have died in France since the start of the epidemic. The patients were all between 60 and 92 years old.

The death toll from the coronavirus epidemic continues to climb. Authorities announced on Friday early afternoon, without giving further details, two more deaths, bringing the total to 9.

Experts and the government say the number of confirmed cases is expected to increase in the coming days and stage 3 of the epidemic may soon be announced.

Of the 570 people who were infected, at least 28, including a member of the Haut-Rhin, are currently in serious condition and are hospitalized in intensive care.

If we ignore for the moment the profile of the patients whose death was announced this Friday, we found until then similarities between the victims, in particular their age, between 60 and 92 years, and for four of them, their department of origin, Oise. At least six of them are men. Le Parisien takes stock of what we know about these deaths.
