VATICAN CITY, MAR 8 - Very few, evaluable in some hundreds, the people who gathered today in Piazza San Pietro for the Angelus of Pope Francis, who due to the coronavirus emergency only appeared at the end of the window of the Apostolic Palace briefly greet the present, but he delivered his speech and recited the Marian prayer in live streaming from the Library Hall, connected in video with the giant screens set up next to the Colonnade. Long, however, the line of the faithful find from the early morning to enter the Basilica of San Pietro, undergoing checks with metal detectors. For the simple access to the square, today there were no usual controls foreseen for Sunday Angelus, just to avoid the gatherings of people. The Pope, who appeared in good health after the cold that hit him in recent days, gave the speech and prayer standing in front of a lectern, with the painting of the risen Jesus in the background and, next to him, a Madonna and Child above a composition of white flowers.
