The critics have missed, but the children probably won't bother
Adelaide was eliminated, and quite a few Purim events, but at least you can take the kids to the movies. Get the kids movie list:
"forward":
Pixar Studios' new movie, which celebrates 25 years of their first movie, "Toy Story." At the center of the plot, which takes place in a magical world full of different creatures, stands two orphan brothers who embark on a dangerous journey following a magic wand and a rare stone capable of bringing their deceased father back to life for a day. Brothers voices are responsible for Chris Pratt ("Guardians of the Galaxy") and Tom Holland ("Spider-Man: Away from Home"). Other stars who take part in the thrilling adventure include Julia Louis Dreyfus and Octavia Spencer.
"Doolittle":
A budget-intensive adaptation of Hugh Lufting's classic book, which has already become one of the biggest box office failures of recent years. Robert Downey Jr., in his first role after his term as Tony Stark / Iron Man, stars as the famous doctor who can talk to animals. The list of talents that make up the animals includes Tom Holland and Octavia Spencer (again), Selena Gomez, Antonio Banders, Michael Sheen, Emma Thompson and more.
According to various media reports, the film got into trouble early on when it turned out that screenwriter Stephen Gaigan ("Traffic") didn't really know how to shoot a movie with so many computer effects. Comprehensive photographs were taken with screenwriters and other directors in a desperate attempt to rescue him. The lethal criticisms the film received in the US, along with the disgusting box office performance, indicate that the above attempt failed. But not at all sure your kids will notice.
"Pet Group":
A German-Chinese animated movie that sends Roger, a rebellious dog with a well-developed sense of justice, and his living friends to save humanity from the evil robots that threaten to take over the world.
"Ancient Voice":
An endearing adventure movie that commemorates Harrison Ford for a cute (and computerized) St. Bernard dog.
"Sonic: The Movie":
Lightweight, entertaining and harmless adaptation to the old computer game, which traces a blue hedgehog that runs really fast, and the crazy professor (Jim Carrey, in an ingenious performance) who tries to capture it.
