(ANSA) - TOKYO, MAR 9 - The Tokyo Stock Exchange starts the week marked by pessimism, due to the growing worries of an expansion of the coronavirus on scalaglobal and with the slide in the price of oil and the appreciation of the yen. The Nikkei drops 3.41% to 20,041.83, leaving over 700 points on the ground. On the currency market, the Japanese currency appreciated on the dollar slightly above a level of 104 and on the euro at 118.40.
