(ANSA) - NAPLES, MARCH 11 - A doctor and a nurse were attacked yesterday evening in the Cotugno hospital in Naples by a person with feverish symptoms who was waiting to make the tampon: impatient with waiting, the man went incandescent and, after having removed his mask he spat on a doctor and a nurse who were trying to bring him back to calm. The two sanitary ware were placed in a rut and the room where the episode took place was evacuated and sanitized. Traces of man have been lost.
"I lost a very good doctor and nurse - the general manager of the Cotugno hospital in Naples Maurizio DiMauro - who must now be in isolation and not able to possess, as they have made their precious contribution so far".
"Spitting on a person when you have, at a time like this, those symptoms and fever, is equivalent to shooting, there is no difference," he concluded.
