One more cancellation adds to the long list of consequences of the coronavirus epidemic. According to our information, the shooting of "The Missing One", a new program from Amazon Prime Video, has been postponed sine die due to the global health situation. While part of the technical equipment had already been sent to Australia, filming was to start at the end of next week.
The Amazon platform announced this big production last November when it presented its new French products, including "Love Island", reality TV currently in broadcast.
"The Missing One", produced by WeMake and co-created with Borderline Media, is a time trial that will see four trios of personalities compete. Within each team, one of them will be taken to a secret place, the Headquarters, and the other two will have to travel through Australia in search of it.
A prestigious casting
Communication terminals located around the country will allow the two explorers to communicate with their missing comrade in order to obtain clues. Each team can win up to 100,000 euros for the benefit of an association and the first to reach HQ will double their winnings.
The announced cast for this new program was prestigious, with the participation of the 1998 world football champions Robert Pirès, Emmanuel Petit and Marcel Desailly, basketball players Tony Parker, Boris Diaw and Marie-Sophie Obama and the singers Bigflo & Oli as well than their father Fabian.
