The number of people infected in Israel continues to rise - and some of them are getting worse

The number of corona infections in Israel rose to 277, the Ministry of Health said on Monday. The condition of four Corona patients whose condition was severely degenerated deteriorated during the day and they were connected to the respirator. Following the spread of the virus, and following the Ministry of Health's recommendations, the Prime Minister's Office is discussing the option of transferring the public sector to an emergency format as well as dilution in the private sector while ensuring an economic safety net for employees and self-employed persons. An unusual incident related to Corona patients occurred in the afternoon at Wolfson Hospital in Bat Yam. A patient who returned to ski in Austria and was diagnosed with a Corona patient violated his isolation condition in the hospital after spending four days in hospital. The patient violently broke the window and burst the doors of the isolation room, despite providing a comprehensive envelope of support and pleading with the staff that violating the patient isolation order endangers public health.
After the arrival of police force and with the assistance of dedicated hospital staffs, the patient was returned to his room and then transferred to the isolation ward which opened at the hospital. The hospital said: "Our team is working 24 hours a day for public health in simple challenges and we expect the public to cooperate. We will not allow any violation that would endanger our staff or other patients."
At the same time, the Ministry of Health and the Home Front Command are considering closing the settlement of Kiryat Yearim near Jerusalem, after about a quarter of its residents have been taken to solitary confinement.
It is estimated that in the locality of about 5,500 people there are about ten patients and another 1,500 were isolated. Following the situation in the locality, and fearing that its residents would not listen to the isolation provisions, they recommended that the settlement be closed, but the settlement opposed the move, which at this stage was delayed. However, the Kiryat Yearim Local Council and the Ministry of Health will continue to hold discussions at all times, in line with developments.
Concerns also surfaced that Minister Tzahi Hanegbi and conference members Ram Ben-Barak and Alon Schuster were also infected with the infectious virus after staying at an event in which Corona's disease last Wednesday.
The three took part in an emergency meeting of the regional councils in the village of Maccabiah on agriculture in the shade of the Corona, and today it was learned that the meeting also attended the husband of a woman infected with the virus. Following the disclosure, the three did not attend the Knesset and did not participate in the swearing-in ceremony in the plenum today, in a limited format. The Negev minister was already present at the tabernacle, stayed in his room, swore a considerable distance from anyone else, and left the Knesset shortly thereafter.
