"However, the French are allowed to do their shopping, provided with the derogatory travel certificate and an identity document," in the shortest possible way and as close to home as possible.
But can you do your shopping together? "It is not recommended to go out shopping together, even if it is two people from the same household," warns Place Beauvau.
"In case of absolute necessity"
In other words, traveling together in the same vehicle is not prohibited. But they must be done in the event of "absolute necessity", and strictly within the framework of the cases "listed by the certificate of derogatory displacement". Namely: going to work, shopping, for compelling family reasons, to assist vulnerable people or childcare.
Inside the passenger compartment, the confinement rules "are the same as for pedestrians": "distance between people", recalls the Minister of the Interior. Finally, in stores, the "distances between people must be systematically implemented", we insist.
