The coronavirus has come to play the holiday troubles in the calendar of cultural events at the start of the year, causing mass cancellations all over the world: the Printemps de Bourges in France or the Glastonbury Festival in the United Kingdom among others. To remedy the shortage of concerts that the world has to face, many artists, like Neil Young and Chris Martin have offered performances to follow live on social networks.

These initiatives inspired Warner Music France to launch the Sofa Festival. A digital gathering to be experienced on March 26 and 27, then April 2 and 3, created in partnership with Fnac and the Songkick ticket sales platform which allows you to follow artists' concerts live from their sofa.
Alain Souchon, Renaud Capuçon or Keen V
On the program for this first (and hopefully the last) edition to follow on the site www.sofa-festival.fr, the artists of the Warner team Alain Souchon, Renaud Capuçon, Gautier Capuçon and Christophe Maé. But not only ! Sônge, Keen V, Boris Way, Tessa B and Camille and Julie Berthollet are among the twenty artists who will perform from your home for this unique event.
"A collection is organized for the nursing assistants of the Paris hospitals-hospitals of France foundation directly on our site ", specifies the record company in a tweet revealing the complete program of the Sofa Festival.
Note that the dates of April 2 and 3 do not fall within the two-week confinement period announced by Emmanuel Macron on Monday, March 16. The situation could, however, change if the President decides to extend this confinement until the end of April, as recommended by the Scientific Council.
