Drop the festival outfit, the sunglasses and the shoulder bag. Put on your pajamas, check that your pilou pilou blanket is close at hand ... and run to your sofa! The aptly named “Sofa Festival”, organized by the Warner France label, begins this Thursday, March 26, for two days. An original and free meeting, dictated by the confinement in progress, which will continue on April 2 and 3.
On the bill, artists Christophe Maé, Alain Souchon, Renaud Capuçon, Keen V, Sônge, Hollysiz, Gautier Capuçon, Lenni Kim, Barbara Carlotti, Camille and Julie Berthollet, among others all responded.
The idea is that each of them plays live concerts from home. They will be relayed on their social networks as on the official website of the event.
Internet users will be able to speak with the artists
These “home concerts” will be structured in two stages. First in the afternoon, where pop, rock, classical or urban sessions will follow one another with 30-minute sessions, followed by 15 minutes with each artist for a moment of questions and answers with Internet users.
And in the process, “Live House Party Sessions” will follow with 1 hour electro sets to ambience in your living room. A moment that will end at 8 p.m., just in time for the participants to then applaud the hospital staff at their window.
This completely free event was organized in partnership with Fnac, the specialized site Songkick, and the Fondation des Hôpitaux de Paris-Hôpitaux de France, for the fight against Covid-19. You can therefore, if you wish, make a donation on the “Sofa Festival” site in favor of the Paris Hospitals Foundation - Hospitals of France, which help improve the lives of patients, carers and carers.
