"In Israel, there are only 1,437 available respirators," the report reveals for the first time. "About six percent of Corona's subjects in Israel were found to be positive."

In a document presented by MK this morning, as part of the committee's discussions, it was stated that as of Tuesday this week, "32,346 subjects were examined, of whom 2,000 patients were diagnosed."

In addition, according to the Ministry of Health, as of January 2019 there were only 758 ICUs of various types in Israel. "394 General Intensive Care Beds, 64 Intermediate Intensive Care Beds, 215 Intensive Care Beds, 53 Intermediate Intensive Care Beds, and 32 Respiratory Intensive Care Beds," the report states.

"In answering the Knesset Research and Information Center's question of the number of respirators in Israel, the Ministry said that as of today, there are 2,173 respirators in Israel, of which about one-third (708) are used, another 28 are abnormal and 1,437 are available," the statement said.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health announced this morning that the number of confirmed cases of Corona patients in Israel rose to 2,495. The condition of 41 of the patients is difficult. 68 of the patients are in moderate condition and 2,315 in mild condition. So far, five people have died in the country from Corona. Also, according to updated ministry data, 146,074 Israelis are currently in solitary confinement.

There are six hospitals in the dedicated Corona Department of Medicine, five of which are in mild condition and one of the moderately defined. The hospital said that "yesterday evening the sixth patient, 38, was a resident of Tiberias. Her condition was mild and she was transferred to MDA Medical Center after the fever went up and she had a sore throat. The patient has been in solitary confinement since Sunday. "

At the Valley Medical Center of the General Group, there are 14 corona patients, one of them in moderate condition and 13 in mild condition.

Spokeswoman Soroka Hospital said this morning that 13 specialty care units are currently hospitalized for Corona patients, including a 95-year-old woman in serious condition and a 51-year-old woman in a moderate condition. Everything else is in easy condition.

"Three new patients were admitted to the unit yesterday: a 64-year-old man, a 31-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man," Soroka said. "Three patients were released to their homes after they recovered and their test results were negative."
