Transform your living room into a dance floor? This is an idea that has a bright future ahead of it in these times of confinement. Since Monday March 23, Tsugi magazine has launched the Maison Tsugi Festival, a 100% digital and homemade event, to allow French people confined to follow artists' concerts from their living room.

The principle is simple. Every day at 3 p.m., an artist performs behind his turntables from his place of confinement for the duration of a performance to follow live on Facebook Live or on Tsugi Radio.
Rebotini, Cerrone and Yuksek
About fifty of them answered Tsugi's call. DJs and producers of electronic music for the most part. Among them, Arnaud Rebotini, author of the highly acclaimed soundtrack of the film 120 beats per minute , the funky London collective Jungle or the disco pioneer Marc Cerrone. But also experienced DJs Yuksek, French 79 and the electro pop revelation of the last Victoires de la musique Malik Djoudi.

In the middle of this crowd of artists from the electro scene we find the rock group the Limiñanas or the British Hot Chip. The full list of artists participating in the festival can be found on the Tsugi website.
The concerts started on Monday March 23 with a lively live performance by Maud Geffray, DJ of Scratch Massive. For the moment, there is no end date for this homemade festival which will last “we-don't-know-how-long” until the confinement ends, the organizers announced.
