(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 28 - The health emergency is making its consequences felt in the poorest families. BancoAlimentare estimates a 20% increase in food requests nationwide with peaks of up to 40%, as in Campania. "New aid applications are ceasing, for example also from the mayors, especially from the Municipalities of the South. We expect an explosion of needs", says the president of the Banco AlimentareGiovanni Bruno Foundation. Banco already normally assists through 21 regional banks and around 7,500 structures over one and a half million poor people every day.
