(ANSA) - NEW YORK, MARCH 28 - If the rate of growth of coronavirus cases continues at current levels, the New York metropolitan area will experience an epidemic worse than that of Wuhan in China or of the Lombardy region in Italy. The New York Times says, according to which New York has had less success in flattening the curve of cases compared to Wuhano to the Lombardy region. "There is no guarantee that the trend will continue. It is possible that social distancing will slow down or stop the growth of cases," says New YorkTimes.
