Two associations notably demanded the requisition of stocks of masks and manufacturing factories as well as the authorization to use

The State Council on Saturday rejected three appeals against the government filed by several caregivers associations. The union of liberal nurses Infin'Idels and that of the doctors of Aix-en-Provence and its region demanded from the State the requisition of stocks of masks and protective medical equipment as well as that of factories likely to manufacture them.

They also called for the establishment of a massive screening of the coronavirus and the authorization for doctors and hospitals to administer chloroquine, this molecule which Professor Didier Raoult, in Marseille, ensures that it produces spectacular effects .

These applications for interim measures were filed in particular in the name of the right to life and the precautionary principle. "We are told that we are at war, but for the moment we are only seeing propaganda. What we are waiting for is now a war industry, ”summed up Nicolas Choley, lawyer for Infin'idels when filing his appeal.

The Council of State at the heart of the crisis

It is the second time in less than a week that the highest administrative court has been requested by representatives of the health world. Sunday, the Council of State had refused to order the total containment desired by several associations of doctors. On the other hand, he had called on the government to review certain travel exemptions as well as its position on maintaining the opening of open markets.

Prime Minister Edouard Philippe had come the next day in the 8 pm news from TF1 to announce these regulatory changes, namely the modifications to the certificate of derogatory travel and the closure of the markets. It also held this Saturday evening in the form of a “transparency” operation to reassure caregivers and citizens.
