(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 28 - The hospital ship Mercy docked this morning at the port of Los Angeles with the aim of strengthening California's response to the spread of coronavirus contagion also in view of New York's request for bedtime. The online Guardian reports.
The ship, specifically converted to be used in the event of a disaster, has 1,000 berths, a medical laboratory, a pharmacy, 12 operating rooms and a bridge for military helicopter landing.
