Meghan Markle starts again from Disney: the Duchess of Sussex starts the new life away from the British royal family, chosen together with her consort Harry and little Archie, returning as widely announced also to the world of cinema. But not as an actress, but as the narrative voice of an upcoming production by the world animation giant. The Duchess is called to tell the story of a family of elephants traveling to Africa, as part of a film - entitled Disneynature's Elephant - which will be visible on the Disney + streaming channel from April 3. In parallel, Disney has announced the release of a second documentary of the same tenor, dedicated in this case to dolphins and titled Dolphin Reef, which will instead be narrated by the voice of Natalie Portman.
Meanwhile, the family has moved, it seems permanently in Los Angeles - read here
In recent months a video had emerged in which Harry 'promoted' his wife's voice acting skills, on the sidelines of the Lion King's premiere in London, chatting with director Jon Favreau and Beyonce and Jay-Z. The Dukes of Sussex, who moved temporarily to Canada after the sensational announcement of the past months of a partial detachment from the Royal Family accepted not without fibrillations in the Windsor house, will be officially exempted from the commitments of dynastic representation and from the role of senior members of the family - albeit keeping the noble title and giving up only the part of the prerogative directly attributable to the Treasury - starting from April 1, next week, based on the agreements finally made with the queen. A choice that will make them more independent in the search for funding sources and in their work, commercial or charitable activities.
