Conte thanks Albania for sending the doctors - VIDEO

The flight that transported the team, arrived yesterday at Fiumicino, made up of thirty Albanian doctors who landed in Italy to help our country in the land landed at Verona's "Valerio Catullo" airport Coronavirus emergency. On board also the Minister for Regional Affairs, Francesco Boccia. This group of doctors will be sent to hospitals in Brescia and Bergamo, in the areas most affected by the pandemic.

"Thanks". Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte wrote it on Twitter, publishing the video of Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama who, in Italian, announces the sending of 30 Albanian doctors and nurses to Italy. Conte comments with a "thank you" and an image of the Albanian flag.

- Both the President of Lombardy Attilio Fontana and the Minister of Regional Affairs Francesco Boccia wanted to be present at the arrival at the Catullo airport of Verona of the contingent of 10 doctors and 20 nurses from Albania to help the Brescia hospital to deal with the Coronavirus emergency. With them also the vice president of Lombardy Fabrizio Sala, the deputy minister of the interior Vito Crimi and the parliamentarian Pd Alfredo Bazoli. "Thank you for this collaboration which will surely be important. We are facing a difficult time for the region and the country and knowing that there are countries that show us closeness is doubly useful", stressed the governor. "I hope you are the beginning of the descent into normalcy," added the governor. "I wanted to say thank you on behalf of the government" underlined Boccia recalling the closeness between Albania and Italy for "this gesture of brotherhood". Even Crimi, who like Bazoli lives in Brescia, wanted to thank them for the help. "We really needed it."
