(ANSA) - WARSAW, MARCH 29 - Krzysztof Penderecki, world famous Polish composer, died in Krakow at the age of 86. The news was given by the Ludwig van Beethoven Association, directed by his wife Elzabieta. "Polish culture has suffered a great loss today," said Piotr Glinski, the minister of culture. Armenian-born Penderecki disappeared after a long illness.
