The monitor dedicated to the images of the cameras on the seventh floor of the Palazzo di Giustizia, in Milan, went black for a few seconds, around 22:55 on Friday 27 March, where yesterday a fire broke out which devastated the central chancery of the magistrate and caused extensive damage to the upper floors of the citadel. An element that makes investigators lean towards the hypothesis of a short circuit, causing a drop in voltage that would have blown up the image for a few seconds.
There are around thirty cameras located on the seventh floor of the Court, while the control room operator has the task of simultaneously viewing about 200 small monitors, positioned on a dozen screens. Furthermore, it has been explained, no more than three security workers work at night to control the Court, not only inside the Palazzo in via Freguglia (7
floors plus a basement), but also in the external circuit and in the headquarters of the judges of peace, in via Francesco Sforza.
From what has been learned, the last round by the security officer, on the seventh floor, was made around 22:30.
