(ANSA) - FANO (PESARO URBINO), MARCH 31 - From the world of cinema, concrete help comes to the coronavirus health emergency.
The idea was developed by the SmartSystem of Fano, in the province of Pesaro and Urbino, one of the hardest hit by Covid-19. The company, associated with Cna Pesaro and Cinema and Audiovisual Marche, specializes in the cinema sector in the construction of systems for the advanced handling of camera dividers (the Steadicam) with which it has also established itself in Hollywood studios. By adapting a type of equipment already produced and used in the world of film shooting, the SmartSystem, led by Andrea Falcucci, has created a device capable of mechanically also remotely operating "Ambu" (Auxiliary Manual Breathing Unit) manual fans, air-expandable balls, a tool for support respiratory activity and, in Intensive Care, to manually ventilate a sedated patient or to support ventilatory activity in a patient in cardiovascular arrest.
