(ANSA) - FLORENCE, MARCH 31 - Esaote has delivered 103 portable ultrasound scanners in four regions, contract awarded in the context of the tender launched by Consip on behalf of the Civil Protection for 155 ultrasound scanners to support the national health system. "Ultrasound systems - reads a note - which will support the Italian intensive care, resuscitation and emergency-emergency departments to face the Covid-19 pandemic have been delivered to Tuscany, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Emilia Romagna and Marche". The operation, says Esaote, among the world leaders in medical diagnostic imaging systems, "confirms the company's full operation even during the Covid-19 emergency and the strong support for the national health system".
"The order, which formally arrived in Esaote at the end of the competition, Thursday 25 March - it is further explained - has already been completely processed thanks to the great commitment of the company which, in addition to reorganizing distribution, at the production site of Florence, the world ultrasound hub and probes for the whole group, was able to assemble, configure, deliver and test the machinery ".
