(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 1 - The deaths due to the coronavirus have exceeded 42,000 worldwide, while the cases of contagion are now more than 855,000: this is what emerges from the updated reports of John Hopkins University. 177,857 people have healed so far.
According to the American university, there are 42,032 deaths and 855,007 infected, of which more than 20% (186,265) in the United States, i.e. the country with the highest number of cases at global level, followed by Italy (105,792) and Spain (95,923 ).
