Does "Westworld" end after season 4? That's what the rumors say

The third season of "Westworld" has only just started, but fans are already hoping for a sequel. Is the HBO series finally over?

"Westworld": Will there be a 4th season?

The series highlights from March 2020 * definitely include "Westworld" *. In addition to "Game of Thrones", the futuristic series is also one of the most successful HBO productions in recent years. Correspondingly, program manager Casey Bloys mentioned a possible 4th and even 5th season of "Westworld" to The Wrap magazine in mid-2019.

So does that mean that a sequel is already in the dry cloth? In fact, HBO has not yet given the green light for season 4 . The broadcaster is probably still waiting for the ratings of the 3rd season to then make a decision. If there is a sequel, it will probably not appear until 2022. Although Bloy's plans sound promising, fans are concerned about another development: series creators Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan have recently signed a deal with Amazon. They are currently working on a project called "The Peripheral". In an interview with Variety, the two revealed what the future of "Westworld" was like and made a less rosy forecast. Her goal is to produce at least a fourth season of "Westworld" . How it will go on after that, however, is uncertain.

The fans currently have no choice but to wait for a statement from HBO.
