Coronavirus: "Are Ministers and VIPs walking around with their certificates?"

2020-04-01T16:24:50.559Z

Since March 17, the confinement rules have been strict: any exit must be justified. For everyone ?

Every day, Le Parisien is mobilized to answer your questions around the coronavirus. Today, Valin would like to know if, like ordinary people, our political leaders are equally required to leave their homes with their duly completed certificate.

It is always the same reflex to take, when it is time to go out the dog, do the shopping for the week, or go for a little jog. Before taking to the air, remember to complete your certificate, specifying all the necessary information. Rules that apply since March 17 to all French people.

Really all? What about serving ministers? "I scrupulously fill out my certificates for each outing," assures us Marlène Schiappa, Secretary of State responsible for Equality between women and men. The instructions are well learned: “I bring an identity document and I specify my departure time. One kilometer and one hour maximum, there is no derogation for me and that is quite normal ”, she informed us.

"It doesn't matter if you are known or not"

Government spokesperson Sibeth N'Diaye clarified the rules for the entire government. “Cabinet members have a work certificate to travel. As part of their duties, ministers of course travel with their security officials, who are in fact police officers. As for our private trips, we must of course fill out our certificates, ”she explains.

Same thing for François Hollande and his wife, actress Julie Gayet: "Like all French people, they respect all the instructions issued by the authorities to fight against the Covid-19", let us know the entourage of the former head of state.

If these rules are valid for our politicians, there is therefore no reason why celebrities should not also comply with the same constraints. “Of course I have to fill out certificates to go out. Fortunately, public figures are no exception to the law! », Answers Julien Lepers. A rule just as valid for the animator as for the footballer Kylian Mbappé or even the humorist Artus, alias agent Jonas Maury in "The Bureau of legends", whose season 5, inevitably expected by amateurs - confined - to the series, is about to be broadcast.

"We obviously fill out our certificates, regardless of whether we are known or not," said the latter. For the moment, I have only filled one, since I only went out to go to the pharmacy. You have to remind people that it is best not to leave your home. »A piece of advice that also applies to your neighbor, even if it is Guillaume Canet, Vanessa Paradis or Muriel Pénicaud.
