Covid: theologians accuse, guilty choices

(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 1 - "The outbreak of the epidemic has had a devastating impact on the health system, and it is already producing equally serious consequences on the social level": with these words a group of theologians, doctors, bishops, parish priests, launches a j'accuse 'speaking of "organizational dysfunctions" in the management of the emergency the consequences of which "are statedisastrous". The "Letter in the storm" was born on the initiative of some Jesuits of the Pontifical Theological University of Southern Italy in Naples who also point the index against "military spending" which "continued to grow exponentially" while "the national health service was subjected to continuous cuts.
