(ANSA) - TEHERAN, APRIL 1 - Iran has banned in the context of the measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus and traditional picnics in the park, which should have been held today on the occasion of 'Nature Day', 13th day of the Persian New Year which is a national holiday in the Islamic Republic. This was stated by the Iranian police commander, Major General Hossein Ashtari, specifying that fines of 5 million rials (about $ 33) are foreseen for car drivers who will be arrested for violating measures against Covid-19. The public parks in the countryside were therefore closed by the authorities, including 1,400 in the capital Tehran.
