The number of coronary victims in Israel rose to 21, after the patient died last night, suffering from severe background illnesses.

The 21st victim: A 98-year-old Corona patient, the oldest deceased in Israel infected with the virus, passed away tonight at Soroka Hospital in Beer Sheva. The hospital said she suffered from severe and complex background illnesses.

"There are currently hospitalized specialty care units dedicated to Corona patients in Soroka, 20 patients," the hospital said. "Six of the patients are in serious condition, two are in moderate condition and the rest are in mild condition. Last night she was released at 18 after being hospitalized for about two weeks."

The Ministry of Health announced this morning that there are 5,591 verified patients in Israel, of whom 295 are in serious condition with 76 being inhaled. 118 patients are in moderate condition and 5,129 are defined as mild. So far, 226 people have been recovered and released into their homes. There are 689 patients in the recovery hotels and 3,062 in home care.

There are 12 patients in the Corona Patients' Department of Pedona-Poria Medical Center, one of them in moderate and ten in mild condition. The hospital said: "During the night, the condition of a 64-year-old patient from the Golan Heights, who has been hospitalized since March 27. He is euthanized and severely depressed, and his condition is severe. His wife, 60, who is also in the ward - is mild."

Laniado Hospital is currently treating 12 patients, four of them in severe (anesthetized and respiratory) and eight in mild condition. The hospital said: "Yesterday, two patients were transferred in a mild condition to continue treatment in a recovery hotel, and were released to a recovered patient home."

24 Corona patients are hospitalized at Barzilai Hospital. "Four patients are in serious condition and the remainder at various stages of lung disease. Most of the patients are in their 70s-50s," the hospital said. So far, 52 verified patients have been treated in Brazil, seven of them recovered and the rest transferred to recovery hotels.
