(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 1 - The INPS website went haywire this morning, after an apparently normal start, on the day the procedure for requesting the bonus that Cura Italia allocates to the self-employed was opened. The pages were not accessible or in some cases showed evident flaws, with exchanges of identity and publication of users' private data. The problem is linked, according to the president of INPS Pasquale Tridico, to a hacker attack.
"In the past few days, and also this morning, we received violent hacker attacks - he said - This morning the number of hits was reached, which reached 300 questions per second, and the site did not stand up. For this reason, we have now suspended the site ''. The portal will be reopened at different times to request services for patronage and consultants and for citizens. "We will reopen it - added Tridico - from 8.00 to 16.00 for patronage and consultants and from 16.00 for citizens".
