Viminale specifies: rules do not change displacements just out of necessity

The possibility of going out with minor children is allowed to a single parent provided that they are close to home and for reasons of necessity or health. Gallera: 'Crazy and senseless circular, I hope the citizens ignore it' (ANSA)

'' Travel rules don't change. The circular of the Ministry of Interior of 31 March limited itself to clarifying some interpretative aspects on the basis of requests received by the Interior Ministry. In particular, it has been specified that the possibility of going out with minor children is allowed to a single parent to walk provided that this happens near his home and on the occasion of journeys motivated by situations of need or health ''. A note from the Interior Ministry states this.

"There is no loosening of controls" and the circular of the Interior Ministry refers to very young children those for whom "going out is a necessity", certainly not "to a 15 year old". This was clarified by the deputy interior minister and M5s political leader Vito Crimi on Radio I too on Rai Radio 1. "It must be clear: we cannot make the children pay for what is happening" who cannot be "victims of isolation". "At this moment we don't have to talk about reopening times but to stay at home: there is some improvement in the evolution of the epidemic" but to reopen "we have to see the light". adds Crimi and clarifies: "For now, we don't talk about it".

"Thinking about what to do next" when the country has to start again "is an obvious fact - he continues -. We are also thinking about the aftermath" but what "we cannot do now is to plan a date for reopening".

"I hope citizens ignore this crazy, senseless and irresponsible circular, that they stay at home and organize games with their children". The councilor for Welfare Giulio Gallera said about the Interior Ministry's provision. Like Lombardy "we will see if there is the possibility of enacting orders that defeat it. We will evaluate it with President Attilio Fontana", added Gallera, in connection with Italia 7 Gold. "I would revoke it, I hope it will be revoked - he added -. It is a problem of messages. The message we have to give citizens is that the road is still long. It is tiring but we have to resist, because we have seen too many dead, we do not cry on one side and give these messages on the other ", concluded the commissioner. "We are halfway along the way we have to go, if the virus has slowed down it is because we have been at home with our children. If today a circular arrives that says everyone can go out with their children, as long as it is 200 meters from home, we risk to have as many people around, as 12 days ago, and to nullify the efforts made because the virus does not ask anyone's permission. We have to stay at least 15 days at home ", concluded the councilor of Lombardy.
