(ANSA) - FLORENCE, APRIL 02 - One million surgical masks, from the city of Guangzhou and assigned to the Civil Protection to face Covid-19. This is the result of a partnership that unites the Florentine fashion house Stefano Ricci Spa and the Lyu family through the Richl company, with the support of Apogeo who has made its logistic services available free of charge to allow the import of the masks.
As a note explains, "thanks to the sensitivity shown by the patron of the Richl company, Dato Louis Lyu Desheng, a Chinese entrepreneur residing in Singapore, it was possible to find the material in China to donate it to the Italian Civil Protection. The load was made available to the authorities and delivered to the "Chinese airport for the handling of customs clearance and for the distribution entrusted to the Italian institutions". This is, continues the note, "of one of the interventions put in place by Stefano Ricci to combat Covid 19 unchanged areas of the world. In recent weeks, the Florentine company has donated ten respirators to the Italian Civil Protection through its Shanghai offices".
