(ANSA) - NEW YORK, APRIL 2 - Anthony Fauci, the top American infectious disease expert and face of the White House coronavirus task force, has been subjected to enhanced security after receiving threats. The Washington Post reports it citing some sources, according to which the nature of the threats received by the virologist in chief is unclear.
Fauci has been targeted in the last few weeks by right-wing commentators and bloggers who influence part of Donald Trump's supporters.
