On the other hand, we will rightly look at the private comedians of their audience or the lawyers in their courtrooms, the sales representatives who have become sedentary or the conductors who should not lead the baton, at home, their wives and their children…

Books are the products of loneliness and the children of silence. We have known this since Proust - and even long before him! Suffice to say that, for writers, nothing has changed from their ordinary in our days yet which are so little. They continue to write, at home, in the silence of life - or of the city now free from its pollution and its noise pollution.
