The 43th person who died of the Corona virus: A 76-year-old resident of the city died Saturday at Barzilai Hospital and is the 43rd person to die from Corona. His son was also admitted to the hospital and his condition was relatively easy at first, but his condition worsened in the last day.

The father was hospitalized on March 24 in the Corona Special Department in Brazil, and his condition began to deteriorate and he was later connected to a ventilator. Due to the aggravation of his condition, doctors fought for his life, but despite treatment of every possible means the patient died, the hospital said.

The father and son, a lecturer at Ben Gurion University in Beer Sheva, arrived at the hospital about a week and a half ago, both diagnosed as positive for the corona virus. The doctors at the hospital initially defined only the father's condition as difficult, but in the last few days there was a deterioration in the son's condition, about 40 years old.

It should be noted that even if the family was diagnosed with the virus, she is staying in solitary confinement. She said her husband and son were apparently infected during a synagogue prayer.

It is believed that because the father does not work, he often stays in the neighborhood synagogue, where he sticks, and when the son came home to visit his parents every weekend, he sticks to the father, as does the mother. The mother said she felt good, but was worried about the son's condition, which, as aforementioned, was getting worse.

She further said that her late husband and son suffered from the virus following the infection, and invited a doctor, who determined it was a virus, and asked them to be monitored.

Barzilai Hospital said that there are now 25 patients with the Corona virus in the special ward. Three of them are in serious condition, over-hospitalized at various stages of lung disease.

Most patients in the 1950s through the 1970s. So far, 63 verified patients have been treated at the hospital. Nine of them recovered and the rest were transferred to a hotel.
