Israeli airline will bring medical equipment to Israel including 2 million masks • Russia closes the sky - 2 companies operate at Ben Gurion Airport

After almost three months when there were no flights from Israel to China, this morning Airbus 320 of Israir took off to Kazakhstan and from there proceeded to China to bring medical equipment to Israel. About two million masks were also brought in as part of the medical equipment. The plane with all the medical equipment is scheduled to land in Israel on Monday morning.

The cargo flight was approved for Israir and is now expected to carry additional cargo flights to the east. It is important to note that in the company's aircraft fleet there are only airliners that most destinations in the East will have to make a stopover, but this also does not prevent the company from continuing its operations even when there are no commercial flights.

The company has also been taking cargo flights to Europe, and has made more than forty rescue flights in recent weeks. El Al also continues to operate cargo flights, mainly in its Triple 7 aircraft, from which all seats were removed and converted to cargo only.

Last Thursday, a plane from the Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific company landed a plane, about two months since all flights to Hong Kong were discontinued. The Triple 7 aircraft that landed in Israel brought medical equipment with him. Starting tonight, only two international flights will operate at Ben Gurion Airport, and the United States will fly to New York and Ethiopian, which operates the Madis Ababa line.
