(ANSA) - BOLOGNA, APRIL 04 - In light of the emergency linked to the spread of coronavirus, in order to ensure the smooth running of public services but "without resorting to social safety nets at this stage", the multiutilityreggiana Iren "has signed an agreement with the trade union organizations to introduce various initiatives in the period 4-30 April ".
In detail, explains a note from the group, Iren "has foreseen the possibility, for employees who have no residual maturity, to use permits to be recovered during the course of the year and the tool for solidarity holidays has also been established: each employee - it is underlined - will be able to donate to a mutual fund up to a maximum of 5 vacation days in favor of colleagues who have already used their days, the total figure of the days donated will then be doubled by the company. The managers have already donated a total of over 350 vacation days ".
Among the measures adopted, again, the possibility of "training days accessible directly online, for language courses, personal and professional training" and the extension "smart-working to all employees who are in the condition to work from their home". Over the course of a few weeks, it is explained in the note, "from about 1,000 to 2,900 employees in smart-working mode" has gone up.
