(ANSA) - CAMERINO (MACERATA), 04 APR - "In the early days of the pandemic it was normal to be afraid, and pulling back with a medical certificate, perhaps, would have been comfortable. Danoi did not happen and for this reason the employees deserve an award". So Federico Maccari, CEO of Entroterra Spa, who announced the initiative of an economic bonus in paycheck for employees of La Pasta di Camerino.
"Just to underline the value of the sacrifice, the courage not to give up and the sense of responsibility towards the colleagues and the company - said Maccari on behalf of the family that founded and holds the ownership of the company - how much will we bonus on the days worked in the March".
The agri-food supply chain has been called on to continue production so as not to miss supplies "even though in this month we have had great difficulties in the logistics sector to ensure transport and we have suffered an increase in the price of durum wheat".
The company (70 employees), produces egg pasta, from ancient Hammurabi wheat semolina and using only 100% Italian wheat, ensuring the tracing of the supply chain cannot buy what is available at the best price as others do. "Focusing on the transparent supply chain - concludes Maccari - is a quality choice that is often expensive but that distinguishes us from any other competitor and the consumer has understood it".
