In Bavaria, for example, the Corona rulings state: "Home visits by service providers or craftsmen who are part of their normal work are permitted." However, all appointments that require a personal meeting but are not necessary should be postponed to a later date . If the appointment is necessary, the rules of hygiene should be observed. This means: keep a distance of at least 1.5 meters, adhere to the sneezing and coughing labels and pay attention to hand hygiene .
ZDH President Hans Peter Wollseifer explains in an interview (as of March 26th): "The plumbing, heating and air conditioning trades, as well as electricians and vehicle workshops continue to perform. The companies are aware of their responsibility and do everything they can to serve customers even in these difficult circumstances . " Wollseifer also points out that "orders in customers' own homes are only possible in emergencies and in compliance with the rules".

How badly are the craft businesses affected by the Corona crisis?
Although some craft businesses can still do their jobs, they too are experiencing major drops in sales .
