(ANSA) - TREVISO, APRIL 6 - The Municipality of Treviso - first in Veneto - introduces the obligation of protective masks for anyone moving in a public area (or for public use) regardless of the reason for leaving the house. To counter the spread of Coronavirus - explains the order signed by the mayor Mario Conte, also president of Anci Veneto - it is mandatory "to use masks or individual protection devices that have the same purposes". The provision, which allows other systems that "snugly cover the nose and mouth", also applies to those who, within the limits of the restrictions in force, carry out motor activities, walks or runs. The ordinance also integrates the same compulsory use of masks and gloves for the staff of commercial activities, as already established throughout the Veneto by the provision of the Region. The violations foresee sanctions from 25 to 500 euros.
