(ANSA) - BARI, 06 APR - "Enel cuore", the non-profit organization of the Enel group, to be donated 1.5 million to the Puglia Region for the preparation of new beds in intensive care.
About 200,000 euros will be allocated to contribute to the preparation of the new intensive care beds in the Perrino hospital in Brindisi and the remaining 1.3 million for the preparation of the new intensive care beds in the other healthcare facilities, to set up other hospital environments dedicated to the observation of COVID-19 post-acute patients and for the procurement of individual protection devices as well as equipped ambulances.
"I thank Enel - explains the governor of the Puglia Region Michele Emiliano - who in a very short time responded to our request. The Puglia Region has many needs and, to date, has committed the sum of 60 million. And for this, of course in the name of everything the Apulians, I would like to thank Enel's directors who made the donation possible ".
