(ANSA) - PORANO (TERNI), 06 APR - So far 11 out of a total of 39 women religious tested positive for coronavirus at the Casa di San Bernardino of the Franciscan Sisters of Maria di Porano: this is what emerged from the results of the tampons, received this morning. To confirm the data, made known by the Municipality, is the Usl Umbria 2.
One of the 11 positive nuns, 103 years old, who suffered from various pathologies at the time, died yesterday evening.
The Municipality explains that today it will resume the execution of the tampons on the other nuns and on the rest of the staff of the convent (the latter so far turned out to be completely negative on tests).
The same staff on duty was placed by the USL in trustee isolation at its residence, but authorized only to complete the home-work journey and vice versa. (HANDLE).
